KALDEWEI SUPERPLAN ZERO – A shower floor masterpiece made of steel enamel

KALDEWEI, Ahlen, September 2021 - The latest product from KALDEWEI, the SUPERPLAN ZERO, has the potential to become a blockbuster in the bathroom. Designed by the Berlin designer Werner Aisslinger, the enamelled shower surface impresses with its detailed restraint and its comfortable and sustainable properties. The aesthetic floor enhancement has elegant lines and is a highlight in every bathroom. 

Superplan Zero is a product name with a background: KALDEWEI has consistently geared its shower surface to customer requirements and translated this into a new product. Installed at floor level, the shower surface becomes the bathroom floor and, thanks to its very narrow edges, allows direct tiling with almost invisible joints. The waste is placed so close to the wall that standing comfortably and moving safely on the Superplan Zero are guaranteed. The new shower surface is characterized by its elegant and precise lines and can be accessed from three sides without any steps. 

The basis is sustainable, particularly long-lasting and 100 percent recyclable steel enamel. The exquisite glass surface, which is applied to the steel using a special process, gives it a luxurious look. KALDEWEI is the only steel enamel manufacturer that produces the enamel, i.e. the basic substance for the glass coating, in-house according to a secret formulation. The quality and durability of these surfaces are legendary. 

Over 50 different dimensions from 70 to 180 centimetres, diverse surface variations and a wide range of colours make the Superplan Zero even more attractive. Whether in large or small bathrooms, building owners, planners and installers have full flexibility. Upon request, the shower surface is available with the almost invisible, anti-slip surface finish Secure Plus. Of course, the Superplan Zero is 100 percent compatible with the tried and tested sealing sets, assembly systems and waste fittings from KALDEWEI.  

Choreography of precision and elegance
For the introduction of Superplan Zero, the well-known musician and photographer Bryan Adams impressively staged the new shower surface with dedication and perfection. In six motifs that stimulate the imagination, the aesthetic, powerful movements of ballet dancers are captured on a “stage” made of precious steel enamel. This brings the sensual serenity of the shower moment to the fore.
