KALDEWEI and e15: Spectacular showcase at the Rohan Design District

KALDEWEI, Ahlen, September 2024 – From Milan to the Vltava: Following its successful appearance at Fuorisalone in April, KALDEWEI will be exhibiting alongside e15 at the Rohan Design District in Prague this September. The centrepiece of the presentation is the freestanding Meisterstück Oyo Duo bathtub in the colour Golden Sun, paired with bathroom furniture from the Frankfurt-based interior label. All pieces from e15, as well as the Meisterstück Oyo Duo from KALDEWEI, were designed by Stefan Diez.

With the Rohan Design District from 12 to 14 September, KALDEWEI has found the perfect setting: The three-day design and art festival in Prague's trendy Rohan/ Karlín district was launched in spring 2024 by local design enthusiasts. With its unique vibe, it is poised to become an internationally recognised platform for creatives from diverse fields, ranging from architecture and design to culinary arts and retail.

The presentation in the Czech metropolis will be nothing short of spectacular: together with e15, KALDEWEI will debut in a glass showcase at Rohan that will continue to capture visitors’ attention four weeks beyond the festival. KALDEWEI is actively contributing to the event’s supporting programme: Christian Büttner, Head of Innovation & Portfolio, will deliver a keynote on “Sustainability in Product Design” on the main stage at the Danube House, offering fascinating insights into forward-thinking design approaches.

The free-standing Meisterstück Oyo Duo bathtub in Golden Sun has already captivated visitors from around the world in Milan. Its design and materiality, crafted from sustainable steel enamel, merge organic aesthetics with uncompromising durability. Last year, this impressed the expert jury of the German Design Council, which awarded the Oyo Duo the German Design Award in the “Excellent Product Design” category. The exclusive furniture from e15, handmade from solid European oak, perfectly complements the refined KALDEWEI bathtub crafted from glazed titanium steel. Both companies share a deep passion for sustainable materials and products.
