KALDEWEI stands for superior quality and exquisite design – with more than 100 design awards it is not only one of the most lauded bathroom manufacturers in the world; it was also named “Brand of the Century” in 2012.

In Asia alone, 60 showrooms in total draw customers with an immersive experience of the stylish baths and shower trays from the premium manufacturer to appreciate first-hand the superior quality of these exclusive products – underlining once more the continuing success of the family business. On 13 May 2014, CEO Franz KALDEWEI personally opened the 40th showroom of the premium manufacturer in China. “The Asian market is developing very positively and today is a key growth region for us,” he explained at the showroom opening in Shenzhen. “We will continue our efforts to consolidate and expand our market position here. The opening of our 40th Chinese showroom marked an important milestone in this – plans are already under way for further points of presence.”

KALDEWEI steel enamel: a tradition of quality

Material expertise and design excellence based on almost a century of company history have made KALDEWEI an expert in modern bathroom design. Managed in the fourth generation, the family company trusts Germany as a manufacturing base, making its high-quality baths, shower trays and enamelled shower surfaces exclusively in the Westphalian town of Ahlen and exporting them from here all over the world. The success of its prestige brand is based on a bedrock of superior KALDEWEI steel enamel. A fusion of two natural materials – steel and special enamel, which KALDEWEI as the only manufacturer develops and produces to a proprietary formula – the material has become known for exceptional quality. KALDEWEI has perfected the traditional craft of steel forming and coating over many decades. Throughout its history, the established German company has consistently pushed the boundaries of production to set ever new milestones in bathroom design. The baths, shower trays and enamelled shower surfaces made of KALDEWEI steel enamel are designed to the highest standards of aesthetics with an exceptional quality and durability that is backed by a product guarantee of 30 years.

100+ awards for pioneering design

For almost a century to date, KALDEWEI has remained true to its mission of applying pioneering spirit and visionary design expertise today to create the style icons of tomorrow. Classic style and understated elegance of its products uniquely fuse innovation and aesthetics. Baths, shower trays and enamelled shower surfaces from premium manufacturer KALDEWEI are the pinnacle of sophisticated bathing and popular throughout the world. More than 100 prestigious design awards are proof positive of this. Prominent examples in the high-end hotel sector – such as the Pangu 7 Star Hotel Beijing designed by star architect C. Y. Lee, the exclusive Peninsula Shanghai, or the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore – demonstrate that, as elsewhere, builders and investors in the Asian region increasingly opt for the recognised and prestigious brand from Germany to supply high-quality products made of KALDEWEI steel enamel.
